How do enquiries from an embedded building configurator get into my CRM?
Short answer. Automatically and one way, into HubSpot, Zoho or Pipedrive, from the Dealer plan. When a visitor requests a quote, the enquiry enters a durable delivery queue. Configure the provider credentials and pipeline in your partner dashboard. Delivery uses retry and deduplication controls; nothing is read back from your CRM.
Which CRMs are supported today
Three, and the honest answer is that the list is short because each one is written and tested rather than generated. There is no Zapier step, no webhook you can point anywhere, and no Salesforce adapter today. Two of the three have a free tier that can do everything we ask of them — HubSpot's free-forever plan and Zoho's free edition — which is why CRM delivery is not priced as a large-brand feature.
| CRM | Status | How duplicates are prevented |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | Supported | Server-side upsert keyed on email |
| Pipedrive | Supported | Exact-match search before the write, because Pipedrive has no upsert |
| Zoho | Supported | Contact and company upserts; deal marker lookup |
| Salesforce, anything else | Not today | — |
What you have to provide
Provide the credentials required by your CRM and choose the destination pipeline in your partner dashboard. HubSpot and Pipedrive use a token. Zoho requires a client ID, client secret, refresh token and region. Check the connection before relying on delivery.
What arrives, per enquiry
Four records, written together. The deal carries an indicative value by project scale — $15,000, $35,000, $75,000 or $150,000, and $25,000 when the scale is unrecognised — in the currency of the buyer's market, with USD everywhere outside Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United Kingdom.
| Record | What it carries |
|---|---|
| Contact | Name, email, phone, company — deduplicated by email and phone |
| Company | Resolved from the email domain, or what the visitor typed. Never derived from a consumer mailbox, so no lead creates a company called “gmail” |
| Deal | One per quote request, in the pipeline and stage you nominate, with an indicative amount |
| Note | The building specification, the prompts the visitor typed, and the sales insight |
That deal value is an estimate, and it says so
It is a band derived from the configurator, not a quote and not a price this product ever showed the buyer. The deal description states that in its first line, because a number that looks like a quote will otherwise end up in somebody's forecast. Treat it as a sort order, not as revenue.
What happens when your CRM is down
The lead waits; it is never lost, and the visitor never sees a failure. The quote handler appends the lead to an append-only log and returns immediately, and a drainer moves records afterwards — waking every fifteen seconds, retrying up to six times with a delay that doubles from two seconds to a five-minute ceiling, and parking anything still failing rather than dropping it.
Why a retry cannot duplicate a lead
Because identity is computed, not remembered. The same lead always produces the same key — no clock, no randomness, no stored CRM id — so deduplication is re-established against your CRM on every attempt and losing the outbox file cannot produce a second contact. HubSpot enforces it server-side through an upsert keyed on email; Pipedrive has no upsert, so its adapter runs an exact-match search before writing.
Which leads are pushed, and which are filtered
All of them, by default, and the filtering is meant to happen in your CRM where a human can see what was filtered. A quote request always carries contact details, so there is nothing to protect the pipeline from that a rule in your own CRM cannot do better.
What this is not
Five things, and the first is the one that surprises people.
- Not a two-way sync. Leads go out. Stage changes, owner changes and notes you write in your CRM never come back.
- Not a marketplace app. There is no listing to install and no OAuth screen; the credentials and pipeline are configured in your partner dashboard.
- Not on by default. With no provider configured the whole layer is inert, and the product behaves exactly as it did before it existed.
- Not a CRM. It fills yours. It does not replace it, and nothing here scores, ranks or forecasts a lead.
- Not verified against your portal until it has been. A live check delivers the same lead twice against your real portal and fails loudly if the second pass created anything. That run is part of switching it on.
What it costs, and what the cheaper plans do instead
Starter ($99/month) delivers enquiries to your email inbox. Dealer ($249/month) and Manufacturer ($599/month) include email and delivery into HubSpot, Zoho or Pipedrive. Configure your CRM credentials and pipeline in the partner dashboard.
My CRM is not on the list. What then?
Ask, because the cost is a class and one registry entry rather than a rewrite — every adapter names its own credential variable and nothing above that layer changes. What we will not do is promise it in a sentence on a web page: an integration nobody has run against a real portal is a claim, not a feature, and the live check that proves one is part of switching it on.
